Overview

Since 2001, Mr. Utech has helped train and certify some of the Midwest’s most successful yoga instructors, trainers and studio owners.  As the former owner of Utechniques, an award-winning automotive marketing, advertising and training agency, then as owner of UpDog Yoga, and now as Baba Ganeesha Press’ Director of Yoga School Operations, Duane Utech provides a uniquely-effective, real-world approach to teaching that aims to help beginning and experienced teachers “teach the change they want to see in  the world.”

To help facilitate that change, Baba Ganeesha Press offers students, teachers and studio owners several ways to receive integrated, hands-on training that serves to augment the training curriculum covered in each manual.  Three different Experiential Training methodologies are available.

On-Site Training

Three times each year, in-depth training is provided on both Yinsight and the Art of Adjustment as part of various yoga school programs. Continuing Education Credits (CEU) are available for both Yinsight and AoA as part of select Spring, Summer and Fall 200- and 500-hour Teacher Training curricula.

Web-based Training

4-, 8-  and 16-hour training modules have been designed to provide varying degrees of in-depth training on Yinsight, the Art of Adjustment, or both.  Modular training  is live-streamed to your location.

Beavertail Point Treehouse Retreat Schedule

For students and teachers interested in hands-on training AND hanging out in the trees, Baba Ganeesha Press, in conjunction with numerous Michigan and Midwest studios, offers seasonal retreats at our retreat center in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula.  Located on over 100 acres of pristine shoreline at Beavertail Point (located at the eastern edge of Michigan’s Les Cheneaux Island District), the Baba G Tree House village features great training, great food, camping, water sports, bonfires – the works!

Information on Scheduling Training for Your Location or Group

Perfect for established Yoga Schools, groups or organizations, a team of Yin and/or Adjustment Specialists, led by Duane Utech (ERYT 500, TYM III) is available to travel anywhere in the world to provide hands-on training for groups of 5 to 50 (or more!).
